Scope: public website and canvas prototype. Subscription terms require finalized operator details and legal review before paid service launches.
1. What these terms cover
These terms describe the public Underleau website and the current canvas prototype. Underleau is an independent project founded by French Donovan and has not yet been incorporated as a company. Verified operator information is provided in the legal notice.
This page is not a completed subscription agreement or a promise that every described product feature is available. Before accepting payment for a service, we will provide the applicable operator details, service scope and commercial terms.
2. Responsible use
Use the website and prototype only for lawful purposes and with material you are entitled to use. Do not attempt to access another person's information, bypass access controls, introduce malicious files, disrupt the service or impersonate others.
Do not place credentials, regulated records or confidential third-party material in a prototype workflow. For a security concern, use the private reporting guidance rather than testing against other users or publishing sensitive details.
3. Your material stays yours
You retain ownership of the material you bring. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions necessary to use it, including the permission of anyone whose personal information it contains.
Our policy is that user data is never used for model training. This is not a transfer of ownership to Underleau. Production processing permissions, retention and deletion information must be described in the applicable privacy notice before cloud processing is enabled.
4. AI and illustrative outputs
AI-generated material may be inaccurate, incomplete or misleading. Check important claims against their sources and use your own judgment. A connected source or a confident answer is not a guarantee of correctness.
The current prototype uses illustrative synthesis rather than a live inference service. Do not treat its responses as verified research, professional advice or a basis for a high-stakes decision.
5. Prototype availability and saved work
The prototype may change and does not provide a production availability commitment. Durable cloud persistence, synchronized accounts and a tested recovery service are not implemented merely because they appear in the product architecture.
Keep your original files and a separate copy of any important notes. Do not depend on a prototype session as the only record of your work. If a capability is unavailable, contact us rather than assuming data can be recovered.
6. Plans and future purchases
The pricing page describes the intended plans in euros. A pricing page, demo request or email draft does not itself create a paid subscription.
Before any purchase, the checkout and applicable agreement must state the total price, taxes where applicable, billing period, renewal price, cancellation process and any withdrawal or refund rights. The published annual offer is a 25% discount for the first year only; it must not be represented as a permanent renewal discount. Enterprise arrangements require separate agreed terms.
7. Your rights and external services
Nothing on this page is intended to remove rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. We are not publishing a blanket waiver of consumer protections, an invented governing jurisdiction or a fabricated company registration.
External websites and media have their own terms and privacy practices. App names and logos identify their respective products; they do not imply endorsement, partnership or an available Underleau connector.
8. Questions and changes
Updated 9 October 2026. We will revise this page when the service scope or applicable terms change. Material commercial terms must be available before a purchase, not introduced only after payment.
For questions about these terms, contact legal@underleau.com. Please do not send private documents or passwords.
